Founded with a deep passion for social justice and inclusive development, Cardinal Youth Association (CYA) was born out of a shared vision: to uplift the most underrepresented voices in our communities — youth, women, and persons with disabilities. What started as a grassroots movement in Mombasa has evolved into a legally recognized, impact-driven organization working across counties to build civic awareness, promote environmental sustainability, and develop ethical leadership from the ground up. Driven by a belief that real change begins at the community level, CYA has actively mobilized hundreds of local groups, hosted civic forums, planted thousands of trees, and trained a new generation of leaders committed to peace, equity, and service. Our journey is defined by resilience, partnership, and purpose — and we are only just getting started.
