In a powerful display of environmental stewardship, representatives from the Cardinal Youth Association (CYA) actively participated in a tree planting exercise yesterday, on Wednesday, 9th October 2025.
The event took place at the Tononoka Social Centre and served as a precursor to the upcoming Mazingira Day celebrations. The initiative aimed to combat climate change and promote a greener, more sustainable community.
The enthusiastic team worked diligently to plant numerous saplings, contributing to local afforestation efforts and beautifying the social centre’s grounds.
“This exercise is more than just planting trees; it’s about planting hope for future generations,” said a CYA representative. “We are proud to take concrete action for our environment and inspire others in our community to do the same.”
